HMG Hardchrome announces exciting new rebrand
HMG Hardchrome, an Australian leader in the refurbishment and manufacture of components used in mobile fleet and fixed plant equipment, has shortened its name to HMG.
The new moniker for the company which started as a small surface finishing shop in 1959, is a small change that chief executive Lincoln Gibbons hopes will have a big impact.
“HMG is so much more than hardchroming. While we’re well known for our world class chrome plant, the scale of our heavy engineering capabilities is second to none in the Asia Pacific region. Our new name doesn’t place any limitations on the long list of services we provide our clients” Mr Gibbons said.
“At our state-of-the-art Brisbane workshop, we provide clients with a single source for their blasting and stripping, engineering and manufacturing, surface finishing, testing and painting requirements. If it’s made of steel and subject to wear and tear, you can be sure HMG can bring it back to its best” said Mr Gibbons.
Mr Gibbons said the decision to rebrand followed an exhaustive company audit conducted last year.
“We ran the rule over every part of the business, surveyed our clients and identified opportunities for improvement. We’re a better company for it and we’re looking forward to providing even more value to our customers and all of our stakeholders” Mr Gibbons said.
“HMG’s new name is accompanied by a new logo and tagline, Made to Last. What we do stands the test of time. That’s why we’ve lasted more than half a century in business. Piece by piece, part by part, person by person. Together we deliver solutions that help build better businesses for our clients” he said.
The HMG logo brings a sharp new visual identity, characterising the brand as bold, smart, modern, and original and is brought to life by the company’s new website www.hmg.net.au.
